Lucknow. Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav has been caught in the case of tweeting against the suspended spokesperson Nupur Sharma from the Bharatiya Janata Party. The National Commission for Women has directed the DGP of Uttar Pradesh to take action against former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on the issue of tweeting against Nupur Sharma.
National Commission for Women Chairperson Rekha Sharma has written a letter to the Director General of Police, Uttar Pradesh, asking that immediate action should be taken against Akhilesh Yadav for commenting on Nupur Sharma on Twitter. Taking cognizance of Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav’s tweet on suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma, the National Commission for Women has demanded immediate action against Akhilesh. The chairperson of the National Commission for Women, while filing a complaint in writing to the UP government, said that the matter should be investigated and action should be taken against Akhilesh Yadav. Rekha Sharma has written a letter to the Director General of Police, Uttar Pradesh and has demanded action against Akhilesh Yadav.
The chairperson of the National Commission for Women has also appealed to the Yogi Adityanath government to take action against Akhilesh Yadav in three days. The Women’s Commission demanded action under sections 504, 506, 509 of IPC against Akhilesh Yadav for commenting on Nupur Sharma on Twitter. Rekha Sharma in a tweet, retweeting Akhilesh Yadav’s tweet, said that look at this man who calls himself the leader of a party. This is inciting people to attack Nupur Sharma. I am writing a letter to UP Police and DGP demanding action against them. Along with this, there is an appeal to the Supreme Court to take suo motu cognizance in the matter.
It is worth noting that recently Akhilesh Yadav shared a clip on his internet media. Along with this, he wrote that not only the face but the body should also apologize and should also be punished for disturbing the unrest and harmony in the country.
