Lucknow. Samajwadi Party has alleged bogus voting and booth capturing in Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council (Local Authority) Basti-Siddharthnagar constituency. SP State President Naresh Uttam Patel has complained to the Chief Election Commissioner and demanded that the polling held at the respective polling stations be canceled and re-polling.
In a complaint letter sent to the Election Commission of India on Sunday, it has been said that the vote was forcibly cast in favor of the BJP candidate at the Haisar Bazar polling station in Sant Kabirnagar. Votes were cast from fake voters by depriving genuine voters of voting.
SP state president Naresh Uttam Patel has alleged that by capturing booth here, cent percent of the total voters of 190 were voted, while many voters are currently living in Mumbai. These voters were not in the constituency itself. Similarly, many people were forced to vote fake at the polling booth in Gaur block of Basti. The real voters were chased away by the police.
At the same time, the SP has complained about the BJP MLA of Haraiya conducting open voting against the rules at the Vikramjot polling station in Basti’s block, while booth capturing was done in the Bankati block. It is also mentioned that in this regard, SP candidate Santosh Yadav ‘Sunny’ had given a written complaint to the Returning Officer, Observer, Chief Electoral Officer and Chief Election Commissioner on Saturday itself at the time of voting.
BJP ruling the people by creating fear: SP National President Akhilesh Yadav has alleged that BJP has defamed the state by its exploits. She is ruling the people by creating fear. He said that just last day, in Prayagraj, the police pelted sticks on the students. Locked in the post, the student was brutally beaten up. It is meaningless to talk about building the future in a government in which students are being harassed by putting them in jail.
The attitude of the BJP government is zero: SP President Akhilesh Yadav said that the law and order, health-education, all are in complete ruin in the state. There is huge dissatisfaction among the people involved in the teaching work. The youth are angry because the attitude of the BJP government towards their problems is insensitive. Unemployment is increasing, there is no arrangement for bread and employment. When the youth raises his voice, the police sticks start cracking to suppress his voice.
