Lucknow. The Yogi government, which came to power again with the resolve to make Uttar Pradesh number one, has started work on mission mode. The government is preparing a roadmap for the next 100 days. For this, it has been decided that work will be done by dividing various departments and their schemes into ten sectors.
In this regard, Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra, who had drawn the blueprint immediately, made a presentation in the important meeting of all the departments convened by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday. Now from April 13 to 20, Yogi will see the presentation of the 100-day action plan of different departments.
Soon after the swearing-in of UP Government 2.0, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had instructed all the ministers and senior officials that the government would work for five years by fixing the target of 100 days, six months and per year. For this, all departments should prepare a 100-day action plan.
For many days, ministers and officers have been preparing for this. In order to take stock of the preparations and give guidelines, CM Yogi organized a review meeting of all the departments in his office auditorium located at Lok Bhavan on Tuesday. Officials including ministers reached with details of the preparations made from their level so far.
The Chief Secretary presented the blueprint of the overall action plan for the hundred days in the meeting. After seeing it, CM Yogi directed that ten sectors should be made from the point of view of development. Plans of different departments should be included. Make an action plan on how the departments can work in coordination with them. Whatever good schemes are going on at present, mentioning them, they should be given more momentum.
He emphasized that all the points of the Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra issued by the BJP during the election should be included in this action plan. Sources said that the Chief Secretary was able to tell the outlines of only half the departments that time was enough. It was decided that all the departments should do their preparation well. The Chief Minister will see the presentation of different departments from April 13 to 20.
Take care of practical and economic aspects: CM Yogi said in the meeting that while setting the target of hundred days, practical and economic aspects should also be taken care of. Ministers should formulate a strategy after discussing in their respective departments. Special attention should be given to Ease of Living.
Ten Sectors : Departments
1. Agricultural production: Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Marketing and Foreign Trade, Agricultural Education and Research, Horticulture and Food Processing, Sugarcane Development, Livestock, Milk Development, Fisheries, Sericulture Development, Minor Irrigation and Ground Water, Irrigation and Water Resources and Cooperation.
2. Infrastructure and Industrial Development : Infrastructure and Industrial Development, MSME, Handloom and Industries, Energy, Additional Energy, IT and Electronics, Civil Aviation, Public Works Department, Khadi and Village Industries, NRI and Institutional Finance.
3. Social Security: Social Welfare, Women Welfare, Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Other Backward Classes, Minorities Welfare and Waqf, Labor and Food and Logistics.
4. Medical and Health: Medical Health and Family Welfare, Medical Education, AYUSH, Child Development and Nutrition, Food and Drug Administration Department.
5. Rural Development: Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Namami Gange and Water Supply, Revenue and Rural Engineering Services.
6. Urban Development: Housing and Urban Planning, Urban Development, Urban Employment and Poverty Alleviation, Environment and Forests and Wildlife.
7. Tourism and Culture : Culture, tourism, charitable work, information and language.
8. Education: Basic education, secondary education, higher education, vocational education, technical education and youth welfare.
9. Revenue Collection: GST, Taxes and Registration, Excise, Transport, Geology and Mining.
10. Miscellaneous : Home, Secretariat Administration, Personnel and Home Guards.
CM will also go on a tour of the districts: It is also being argued that due to the Legislative Council (local body) elections, the ministers have to go to their respective areas. The results of the elections will be declared on April 12. After that, department-wise work will be started on the 100-day action plan. After this, the Chief Minister will also go on tours of the districts. Before that the ministers in-charge of all the districts and nodal officers are also to be appointed. The minister in charge and the nodal officers will also be responsible for monitoring the works to be done under the 100-day action plan.
