Ayodhya. A major road accident happened in Ramnagari on Tuesday morning. In an attempt to overtake a vehicle parked on the Mumtaz Nagar over bridge on the Lucknow-Gorakhpur national highway, a private bus overturned uncontrollably. Three passengers aboard the bus died on the spot while more than 30 people were injured in the accident. The private bus was going from Delhi to Siddharthnagar carrying passengers. At the same time, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh has expressed deep grief over the deceased.
Police and administration officials immediately reached the spot after getting information about the accident. The injured were taken to the district hospital by ambulance and other vehicles. The local people also helped the police in relief and rescue work. With the cooperation of the local people, the police got a lot of help in evacuating the injured trapped in the bus.
The bus had left for Siddharthnagar with passengers from Delhi on Monday night.
According to the people present at the spot, a damaged truck was parked on the highway in Mumtaz Nagar, which resulted in the accident while trying to overtake it. The truck was parked for several days. Passengers told that they do not know how the accident happened, but they definitely remember that the bus first waved and then overturned. After the accident, the passengers present in the bus started screaming. Neighbors also came to the spot. Local people informed the police. Two people died on the spot in the incident, while one youth died in the district hospital.
Before dying in the district hospital, the youth gave his name as Ramesh and address as Haraiya Jogia district Siddharthnagar. After that he died. The names and addresses of the remaining two deceased are still unknown. The condition of many passengers remains critical. Among the injured are 30 people including Rishabh Tiwari, Praveen Kumar, Om Kumar, Pancham, Anita, Bhisu, Shivam, Dinesh, Anshika, Devi Prasad, residents of Siddharthnagar.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ji has deeply condoled the death of three people in this incident. He expressed condolences to the bereaved families of the deceased. The Chief Minister has directed for relief and rescue work by sending DM and SSP to the spot immediately. The Chief Minister has given instructions to provide proper treatment to those injured in the accident.
