Lucknow. Shivpal Singh Yadav, a very old face of the politics of Uttar Pradesh and one of the founding members of the Samajwadi Party, has suddenly started increasing his love for the Bharatiya Janata Party. It was because of his growing sourness with the top leadership of the Samajwadi Party even before the 2017 assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh that he floated his new party. Now after the 2022 assembly elections, he is again on a new path.
Akhilesh Yadav has fielded Shivpal Singh Yadav from Jaswantnagar in Etawah for the assembly elections. National President of Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party Lohia Shivpal Singh Yadav contested from Jaswantnagar as Samajwadi Party candidate and won by a huge margin of votes. After this, when the Samajwadi Party did not invite him to the legislature party meeting, his attitude started getting bitter. Shivpal Singh Yadav, who skipped the meeting of allies of the Samajwadi Party on March 28, took oath as a member of the Assembly in the Speaker’s room on March 29 and asked the media to wait for its next move.
Shivpal Singh Yadav’s joining BJP or going to Rajya Sabha with the help of BJP was being speculated that his sudden increased love for BJP leaders has come to the fore. The tussle between Akhilesh Yadav and Shivpal Yadav continued to increase after the results of the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections were announced. Now even in the midst of speculations about Shivpal joining the Bharatiya Janata Party, Shivpal Singh Yadav followed senior BJP leaders on social media. He has followed CM Yogi Adityanath and CM Office Uttar Pradesh on social media app Ku, and has followed PM Modi and CM Yogi on Twitter. Apart from this, Shivpal Yadav has also followed Dr. Dinesh Sharma, former Deputy CM. Earlier Shivpal used to follow only PMO and CMO. After following the Twitter of PM and CM, discussions have intensified once again in the political corridors about PSP President joining BJP. Since this happened, it seems that Shivpal has done this work to indicate his future step.
Political pundits are speculating that the Bharatiya Janata Party can send Shivpal Singh Yadav to Rajya Sabha and send his son Aditya Yadav to the assembly from Jaswantnagar in Etawah. Akhilesh Yadav did not try Aditya Yadav anywhere in politics, Shivpal Singh Yadav is also hurt by this.
Shivpal Singh Yadav is deeply hurt by any step taken against his honor. He felt that after winning from Jaswantnagar, Samajwadi Party would make him the Leader of the Opposition. This did not happen and he was not even invited to the meeting. In such a situation, many people will not be surprised if Shivpal Yadav changes his side. On the very first day of Chaitra Navratri, Shivpal Singh Yadav’s joining the BJP seems to be stamped.
