Lucknow. With the belief that Yogi is useful for Uttar Pradesh, the BJP leadership has again handed over the power of the state to Yogi Adityanath, and this time it has also given a team of many new players. In the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Yogi took oath as the Chief Minister along with his Council of Ministers. Breaking many myths, the BJP, which formed the government for the second time in a row, took everyone by surprise this time and put many big ministers of the previous government aside. A new government has been formed by replacing 22 old ministers with 32 new faces.
Keshav Prasad Maurya, who got a good ranking in the party’s ‘report card’ apart from the election results, has been made Deputy Chief Minister again, while Brajesh Pathak has been made Deputy CM in place of Dr. Dinesh Sharma. The way in which efforts have been shown to reach out to all the caste-classes in this 53-member cabinet, while showering special love on the backward, it is clearly also a strong preparation for the Lok Sabha elections 2024.
The historic swearing-in ceremony of Yogi Sarkar 2.0 took place on Friday at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium in the capital Lucknow. After 37 years in the politics of the state, the BJP made a record of returning to power for the second time in a row, and after completing the five-year term, Yogi created the history of taking oath again. In the presence of PM Modi, Governor Anandiben Patel administered the oath of office and secrecy to Yogi and his new cabinet. The Chief Minister, two Deputy Chief Ministers, including 19 cabinet ministers, 14 ministers of state (independent charge) and 20 ministers of state have been included in it.
Before the swearing-in ceremony, there was a lot of speculation, many names were being made as candidates for the post of ministers and deputy chief ministers, but as soon as the stage of the ceremony and the swearing-in began to sit on the chairs, almost everyone was taken aback. Actually, the possibility of making Keshav Prasad Maurya as Deputy CM again was being strongly expressed, but the BJP surprised by replacing his fellow Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Dinesh Sharma and handing over the chair to Brajesh Pathak, who was the Law Minister in the previous government. However, the balance between the Backward and the Brahmin class remained the same.
Arvind Kumar Sharma and Aseem Arun, who brought voluntary retirement from the service of IAS and IPS, and Baby Rani Maurya, who was the Governor of Uttarakhand, respectively, were also likely to be made ministers, but outgoing ministers Satish Mahana, Ashutosh Tandon, Siddharthnath Singh, who became MLAs for the eighth time, The non-return of Shrikant Sharma in the cabinet was unexpected.
A message has also been given from this that just as many veteran ministers were discharged from the Modi cabinet a few months ago, the same formula will now be applicable in any BJP government. Leaving the fascination for the glory of the name, the eyes of the party are now on ‘Performance’.
The BJP strategists have decided each name by balancing the caste and regional balance. There are 20 ministers from the backward classes with maximum participation in the population of the state, while in the second place in priority, he has been the Dalit, who left the blue camp of BSP and played a big role in hoisting the saffron flag in the state. As a reward, eight ministers have been made from the depressed classes. There are seven Brahmins, six Kshatriyas, four Vaishyas and two Bhumihars. There is representation of Kayastha, Sikh and Muslim society as one minister each. There are also five women in the Council of Ministers.
22 ministers of the previous Yogi government could not get a place in the cabinet again. The most shocking name is that of Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Dinesh Sharma. Dr. Sharma, who looks after important departments like secondary and higher education, is missing from Team Yogi this time. Satish Mahana, an eight-time MLA and Minister of Industrial Development in the previous government, could not make it to the government.
The non-inclusion of Siddharthnath Singh and Shrikant Sharma, both the spokespersons of Yogi Sarkar 1.0, is surprising. Siddharthnath had an important department like Khadi and Village Industries and Shrikant had energy. Ashutosh Tandon alias Gopal ji, who was the Minister of Urban Development, Dr. Mahendra Singh, who was the Minister of Jal Shakti, Jai Pratap Singh, who was the Minister of Health, Ram Naresh Agnihotri, the outgoing Excise Minister, Ramapati Shastri, who was the Minister of Social Welfare, are also not in the Council of Ministers this time. Ramapati Shastri has been made pro tem speaker recently.
The leaf of Dr. Neelkanth Tiwari, who was the Minister of Tourism and Culture, has been cut. He has won the election from Varanasi seat for the second time. Ashok Kataria could not become a minister. Mohsin Raza, who was the Minister of State for Minorities, has been given the place of Danish Azad Ansari, who comes from the Pasmanda community.
Similarly, Minister of State for Yogi Sarkar 1.0 with independent charge Shri Ram Chauhan, Minister of State Jai Prakash Nishad, Jai Kumar Singh Jackie, Atul Garg, Anil Sharma, Suresh Pasi, Ramashankar Singh Patel, Neelima Katiyar, Mahesh Chandra Gupta and GS Dharmesh were also sidelined from the Council of Ministers. Has been given.
Reward of work to the organization: The BJP organization has also been rewarded for the hard work done in the assembly elections. State President Swatantradev Singh was made a cabinet minister, then State General Secretary JPS Rathore, who handled the election management, State Vice President Dayashankar Singh who won from Ballia and State Backward Class Morcha President Narendra Kashyap got the gift of working in their class. All three have been made ministers of state with independent charge.
Respect for allies and those coming from other parties: BJP has also given respect to allies in preparing this team. Apna Dal (S) working national president Ashish Patel and Nishad party national president Dr. Sanjay Nishad have been made cabinet ministers. At the same time, Rakesh Sachan, who came from another party, has given ministerial post to Dinesh Pratap Singh. While Jitin Prasad’s post of cabinet minister remains intact, Nitin Agarwal, who was made Deputy Speaker of the Assembly in the previous government, will now be Minister of State with independent charge.
