Former Indian team captain Virat Kohli is going to play his 100th Test match against Sri Lanka (India vs Sri Lanka, 1st Test) in Mohali. Keeping in mind the sentiments of the fans, the BCCI has allowed the fans to come to the stadium and watch the match. In this ground of Punjab Cricket Association, now 50 percent of the spectators will be able to come and watch the match. The first match of the two-match Test series between the two teams is to be played from March 4. This is also Rohit Sharma’s debut match as a Test captain.
When it comes to playing most Test matches for India, master blaster Sachin Tendulkar is at the forefront. He has played 200 test matches for India. After this, at present, India’s head coach Rahul Dravid played 163 Tests while in Team India. At the same time, VVS Laxman (134), Anil Kumble (132), Kapil Dev (131), Sunil Gavaskar (125), Dilip Vengsarkar (116) Sourav Ganguly (113), Ishant Sharma (105), Harbhajan Singh (103) and Virender Singh Sehwag (103) has played Test matches.
