The Bharatiya Janata Party has postponed the program of declaring Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra for the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections on Sunday as two days of national mourning was declared on the death of Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar on Sunday. Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah reached Lucknow on Sunday and paid tribute to Lata Mangeshkar at the state headquarters of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Today’s program of Amit Shah’s tour of western Uttar Pradesh will continue.
Due to the death of Swar Kokila Lata Mangeshkar on Sunday, the Bharatiya Janata Party has postponed the announcement of Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra for the 2022 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. Home Minister Amit Shah had reached Lucknow on Sunday to issue the Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra. After the postponement of the program, Union Home Minister Amit Shah along with CM Adityanath, Deputy CM KP Maurya and Uttar Pradesh BJP President Swatantra Dev Singh observed a two-minute silence to pay tribute to Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar. Due to the death of Lata Mangeshkar, the BJP has postponed the program of manifesto for the Uttar Pradesh elections for the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. Swatantra Dev Singh said that Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar has passed away today. A personality like him comes once in centuries. Due to this sad news today manifesto 2022 schedule has been postponed, next date will be announced soon. Other political programs of the party will remain the same.
The Bharatiya Janata Party, which is trying to retain its government in Uttar Pradesh, had on Sunday decided to release its Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra for the 2022 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. For this, Home Minister Amit Shah also reached Lucknow at around 11 am. He was received by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, BJP State President Swatantradev Singh and Mayor of Lucknow along with other ministers at Lucknow’s Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport.
BJP Uttar Pradesh has prepared Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra by collecting suggestions from across the state. Akanksha Patti was launched by the party in the past in a program organized at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in Lucknow. The Chief Minister had started the campaign ‘UP No. One, Suggestion Aapka, Sankalp Hamara’. The campaign to collect suggestions for Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra started on December 15, 2022. Dialogues were held with people of different social and economic classes in 30 thousand gram panchayats, all assembly constituencies and metros of the state. Suggestions were sought from him. Aspiration boxes were installed. Along with this, suggestions were also taken through missed call and e-mail.
