Lucknow. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has cut the ticket of Swati Singh, a minister in the Yogi cabinet, from Lucknow’s Sarojininagar seat. The BJP has fielded former ED director Rajeshwar Singh in place of Swati Singh. After this, discussions started about Swati Singh joining the Samajwadi Party (SP). Meanwhile, Swati Singh put an end to these speculations by holding a press conference on Wednesday. He said that she is not going anywhere. Her soul is BJP and she will remain here till her death. She also said that I will support BJP and will also support BJP candidate Rajeshwar Singh ji.
Swati Singh, a minister in the Yogi government, has termed the news of leaving the Bharatiya Janata Party as baseless. He said that neither I am angry with the ticket being cut nor am I going anywhere else. I can’t even think of leaving BJP. Whatever responsibility I get in the party, I will fulfill it with full devotion. I am a BJP worker and will be for life. He thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for trusting him. He said that whatever I am, I am because of the party. It doesn’t matter if the ticket is cut or not. He said that when I got the ticket, I got it only after cutting someone’s ticket. If the party has not given me a ticket, then surely something good must have been thought for me. BJP has made me. Whatever I am is because of the party.
Swati Singh said that the party made me the President of Mahila Morcha, after that I was made MLA by giving ticket, made a minister. My soul is BJP. There is BJP in my rome. There is no question of going to another party. Whatever opportunity the party gives, I will fulfill it with full responsibility. Swati Singh said that there is no controversy if she does not get the ticket. I haven’t said anything. Even today I am the MLA of that area, I will do whatever comes to me and will continue to do so. My soul is BJP. I will stay here, die here and I will not go anywhere.
