Lucknow. The Congress, which has fielded candidates on 403 seats alone in the 2022 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, is constantly changing candidates. Congress will field women in 40 percent of the 403 assembly constituencies. Along with changing the name of the candidate announced on Monday, the Congress has also released the list of names of three new candidates on Tuesday.
Congress’s national general secretary Priyanka Gandhi intends to bring the Congress, which has been in exile of power in Uttar Pradesh for nearly three decades, into the mainstream.
