District Police has provided security to Muslim youth Ahsan Rao, who raised slogans of Jai Shri Ram at the rally of Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh on December 2. Superintendent of Police (countryside) Atul Sharma said on Tuesday that in the rally organized in Saharanpur recently, a person named Ahsan Rao raised some slogans after which he was getting constant threats. In this regard, Ahsan Rao had written a letter to the District Magistrate and Senior Superintendent of Police of Saharanpur, demanding security.
The Superintendent of Police said that on the request of Ahsan Rao, the district administration has provided a gunner to him. Ehsan Rao, who is considered a supporter of BJP, said that some hardliners, who were angry with his slogan, had started enmity, due to which he had demanded security from the administration. He told that the administration has provided a gunar (gun guard).
Ahsan Rao says that he has not committed any crime by raising the slogan of Shri Ram. On the other hand, Bajrang Dal has given support to the young man and called it right and assured him of security. On the other hand, the ulama, expressing her objection to this matter, has asked the young man to come in front of the ulama and repent.
