Gonda. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave a big gift to Gonda on Saturday. CM Yogi Adityanath laid the foundation stone of the country’s largest ethanoate plant to be built in an area of 26 hectares at Maijapur Sugar Mill here. This plant will be ready by May 2022. Here ethanol will be made from sugarcane juice, broken rice. With this 60 thousand farmers will get benefit and 250 people will get employment.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed the public meeting on the occasion. He also apprised the farmers present here about the priority of the government as well as the work of the government so far. He said on behalf of the farmers that before 2017 farmers were committing suicide in Uttar Pradesh. With his hard work, he was producing food, but there was no arrangement for his purchase. People used to die of hunger. The farmer was compelled to commit suicide due to not getting the right price for his produce. There used to be goondaism in the state. There were riots. There was chaos here.
He said that after 2017 under the guidance of the Prime Minister, our government has worked to change the fate and picture of the state. Today, there should be action for timely payment of cane price of sugar mills or whether there is talk of establishment of purchase center for wheat and paddy. In Gonda district alone, wheat worth more than 92 thousand quintals has been purchased. Its payment has been made directly into the account of the farmers. The farmers’ produce is being linked to the minimum support price. Now the farmer is doing other farming along with sugarcane in his field.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that before the year 2017, the arhtiyas used to buy the produce of the farmers. The profit margin was working. The farmer felt cheated. Today every farmer is being given the benefit of minimum support scheme. The Chief Minister said that earlier, when the prices of petroleum products increased in the international market, some part of it was taken away by the people working in anti-India activities as profits. Our own money was misused against us. Now the situation has changed. Now the farmer is moving ahead on the path of prosperity under the able guidance of the Prime Minister. CM Yogi Adityanath said that Asia’s largest ethanol plant is going to be built here in Gonda.
The Chief Minister said that before 2017, there was such a government in Uttar Pradesh, which used to get riots done during festivals and festivals.
