Jalalpur (Jaunpur): A constable posted at Parauganj police station found it difficult to molest a girl student. When the girl reached the post on Saturday evening with the women of the family, the constable ran away. The girl’s relatives and hundreds of angry villagers blocked the road and blocked the traffic on the Jalalpur-Thanagaddi road. The road jam ended after the constable was suspended after about two hours. The investigation of the case has been handed over to CO Kerakat Shubham Todi.
A girl studying in BA of a village located near the police post alleges that while going to college, the constable Mansingh posted at the outpost used to molest her. Write something on the paper and throw it. She went away ignoring it. On Friday, when he got tired, he gave this information to his relatives. On Saturday, on the advice of a relative, the student picked up the paper thrown by the soldier and took it home. It is alleged that the soldier had also written his number on the love letter.
At the behest of the relative, the girl called on the above number, then she asked to come to the police post. At around four o’clock, the women of the family and the neighborhood reached the outpost with the student. Seeing the urgency of the spot, the soldier fled. Angry relatives and villagers lodged a case against the constable demanding action and blocked the road at Parauganj intersection. On learning this, there was panic in the police department. Kerakat’s CO Shubham Todi, Kotwal Laxman Parvat and Jalalpur police station in-charge Inspector Vijay Shankar Singh reached with the force to maintain peace.
The CO informed the matter to the higher officials. On being assured of proper action, the road jam was cleared. During this, traffic on the Jalalpur-Thanagaddi road was disrupted. There were long queues of vehicles on both sides.
————————- In view of the seriousness of the allegation, SP Ajay Kumar Sahni has suspended constable Mansingh with immediate effect. The investigation of the entire case has been handed over to CO Kerakat. Further action will be taken based on the report.
