In the case of beating a 13-year-old innocent by chains in an illegal madrasa operating in a mosque named Taleem-ul-Quran in Ladia area of Sasni Gate police station area of Aligarh, the police arrested Maulana Faheem Uddin son Abdul Shakoor resident Mohalla Ladia Sarai Bhatt, Sasnigate and The father of the child taken hostage, Shahzad son Mohammad Abdullah Khan resident of Islam Nagar, Jamalpur, Quarsi was arrested and sent to jail on Tuesday.
A case was registered against both of them on behalf of SI Vinod. The father of the child is alleged to have asked the Maulana to take his child hostage after the child had run away from the madrasa twice. Here, along with Wasim and others accused of making the video viral, the supporters of illegal madrassa attacked on Tuesday. The attackers fled before the police arrived on information.
The matter came to light after a video went viral on social media. The police and the minority department swung into action after the video went viral on the internet on Monday. The police who reached the spot had rescued the innocent and took Maulana into custody.
CO First Raghavendra Singh confirmed the trial against Maulana and the child’s father and arrested them and sent them to jail. Here, District Minority Officer Smita Singh told that no record of madrassa is on the portal of the department. It is illegal. A letter has been written to the government against this and other such illegal madrassas. Further action will be taken as soon as the guidelines are received from there.
Report sent against madrasa
After the arrest of the Maulvi, the relatives of other children are also worried. However, studies continue here. But, the police made a report against the madrasa and sent it to the in-charge District Minority Welfare Officer Smita Singh. In this regard, Smita Singh told that the madrasa is not registered with the minority department. It is related to some society of Agra. In this case notice has been issued to the Director. Further action will be taken once the reply is received.
