Agra: The court has found three policemen guilty in the seven-year-old case of the infamous accused absconding from police custody. Special Chief Judicial Magistrate Sudha Yadav sentenced the accused policemen Yatendra Kumar, Brajesh Kumar and Dinesh resident of Bulandshahr to one year’s imprisonment and a fine of six thousand rupees.
On December 12, 2014, constable Dinesh Tiwari gave a complaint in Shahganj police station that constables Yatendra Kumar, Brajesh Kumar and Dinesh Police Line Meerut were arrested, Vicky alias Vikrant resident Sunhera police station Khekra district, Baghpat under section 394, 397 and 120 under crime number 185/11. B was taken from district jail Meerut on 10 December 2014 to present in the ASJ court in Sujalpur district Shajapur Madhya Pradesh.
After presenting the captive Vicky alias Vikrant there, on December 11, he was first brought to Bhopal by train from Sujalpur station. From there he was going back to Meerut by sitting in Habibganj Express. On December 12, at 5:30 am, the accused escaped from the moving train with handcuffs when the train came half a kilometer ahead of Agra Cantt. Apart from the accused, a case was registered against the policemen under sections 223 and 234 at Shahganj police station for negligence in discharge of duty.
The accused did not appear, separate of the letter
During the trial of the case, the court separated his letter after the accused Vicky alias Vikrant did not appear in the court. On behalf of the state, the prosecuting officer presented important evidence to prove the case.
