Lucknow. In Uttar Pradesh, fake teachers are playing a big game with the help of fake documents and Salwar gang by forming a gang themselves. Not only are fake teachers being recruited continuously in different districts, but even fake verifications were being done with the connivance of the employees of the Office of the Examination Regulatory Authority located in Prayagraj. The Special Task Force (STF) has arrested three accused, including the kingpin of a big gang that has recruited more than 100 teachers through fake documents in different districts. Now his eye was to rigging the results of TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) / PGT (Masters Teacher) recruitment examination held this year. The STF is now searching for many fake teachers including Narendra Kannojia, the clerk of the Examination Regulatory Authority office. 19 lakh rupees have also been frozen in the account of the kingpin Ram Niwas.
The STF has arrested Ram Niwas alias Ram Bhaiya, a resident of Firozabad, Ravindra Kumar alias Ravi, a resident of Agra and Sanjay Singh, a resident of Ghaziabad, on Friday from near Pickup Tirahe in Gomtinagar area in Lucknow. According to STF CO Pramesh Kumar Shukla, the gang leader Ram Niwas was recruited as a teacher in a junior high school school in Deoria in the year 2013 with the help of forged documents, but later resigned. His partner Ravindra Kumar is a fake teacher in Deoria’s Bankata primary school. The third partner, Sanjay Singh, is a production manager at Delhi-based DataSoft Computer Services Company.
The trio had come to Lucknow on Friday to meet an employee of a company involved in preparing the TGT/PGT exam results. On the basis of the statements of the three, investigation is also being done about the company concerned and its employees. In the interrogation of Ram Niwas, it has come to the fore that Vinay Tiwari, who got the job of a teacher in Deoria through fake documents, and Manish Yadav, a fake teacher in Kushinagar, are his close associates. Both of them had also become fake teachers in the year 2013 and Ram Niwas had approached both of them to break into the recruitment of 15,000 primary teachers in the year 2016.
Ram Niwas had recruited 15 of his candidates with the help of fake documents by paying Rs 90 lakh to Vinay Tiwari. All were also appointed in Deoria. However, all were sacked when the disturbances were caught. Those 15 candidates were included in the recruitment process of primary teachers on 68,500 posts in 2017 and 69,000 posts in 2018 after pressurizing Ram Niwas to refund the amount and were re-admitted through fake documents. Ram Niwas said that the details related to the selection process of primary teachers for both these years were available on the website of the department, which could be seen by anyone.
From visiting the website, it was found that there were many candidates who were selected in both the year 2017 and 2018. After joining in one selection process, the post of second selection process became vacant. By preparing fake documents in the name of the candidate related to the vacant post, Ram Niwas got his candidates admitted. The role of teacher Shivam and Shikohabad resident Chhotu have also been found in preparing fake documents.
