Barabanki. A case has been registered against AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi and the organizing board at Nagar Kotwali. Inspector Amar Singh, in-charge of Nagar Kotwali, said that the complaint of city police outpost in-charge Harishankar Sahu has been sued for holding public meetings without permission and inciting religious sentiments, under Section 144 and Kovid-19 and Epidemic Act. Owaisi is also accused of making indecent remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in the trial.
Administration awakened after the letter of MLA Satish Sharma: Daryabad MLA Satish Chandra Sharma has demanded an FIR against AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi and the organizers of the program from the Additional Chief Secretary Home on Thursday evening. Its copy has also been sent to DM and SP. The MLA told that he also talked to the DM and SP in this regard. Then the administration swung into action.
SDM Sadar Pankaj Singh said that other things including holding of public meetings without permission and violation of the rules of Kovid-19 have come to the fore. Videos and footage of the event are being collected. After this, around 10.30 pm, the Inspector-in-Charge of the City Kotwali informed about the filing of the report.
Owaisi did the work of disturbing communal harmony: MLA Satish Sharma has written in a letter sent to the Additional Chief Secretary that on Thursday, after meeting in Katra Mohalla without permission, Owaisi accused Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath of martyring a 100-year-old mosque in Ramsanehighat. Which is condemnable and disturbing communal harmony, while the illegal structure has been brought down under the constitutional process.
It is noteworthy that Owaisi was allowed tea and breakfast at the house of Chaudhary Faiz-ur-Rehman in Mohalla Katra of the city, but Owaisi addressed a large public meeting. The stage took place. Barricading was done. Sound and other arrangements were also in place, but the police remained a mute spectator instead of taking action. When the MLA took the matter to the Additional Chief Secretary Home, a report was lodged.
