Lucknow. The ashes of late Kalyan Singh, a former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and a reflection of firmness, transparency, ideals and values in Indian politics, will be immersed in Ganga river in Varanasi and Saryu river in Ayodhya. The program of bone immersion will start after September 1.
After the death of former Chief Minister Kalyan Singh in Lucknow last Saturday, he was cremated on the banks of river Ganga at Narora in Bulandshahr on Monday. Born in Atrauli, Aligarh, the ashes of Kalyan Singh will be picked up from the Banshi Ghat funeral site in Narora, Bulandshahr on August 27. His ashes will be immersed in Narora on the same day. After this, on September 1, a program of Trayodashi Bhoj will be held at his workplace at KMV Inter College, Atrauli.
The program for immersion of the ashes of former Chief Minister Kalyan Singh will be held after September 1. First of all, his ashes will be immersed in the Ganges river in Varanasi. After this, a program has been organized to immerse the ashes of Kalyan Singh in the Saryu river in Ramnagari Ayodhya.
His son Rajveer Singh alias Raju Bhaiya, Bharatiya Janata Party MP from Etah, told that Kalyan Singh’s ashes will be immersed in Narora as well as in Ganga of Kashi and Saryu river in Ayodhya. His Trayodashi and tribute meeting will be held in Aligarh on September 1.
