Lucknow. The Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh will be the support of the children who are orphaned due to reasons other than Corona. For this, on Monday, the cabinet approved the proposal to provide financial assistance under the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Bal Seva Yojana (General). Now such children below the age of 18 years who have lost both their parents or either of the parents or their legal guardian due to reasons other than Kovid-19, will be given financial assistance of Rs 2500 per month. On July 22, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had announced to provide financial help to the orphan children due to reasons other than Corona at the launch of Uttar Pradesh Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana. The cabinet passed its proposal on Monday, 11 days after the announcement. Also, such adolescents of 18 to 23 years who have lost both their parents or either of the parents or guardian due to corona or other reasons and they are taking further education after completing education till class 12. If so, they will also be helped. After Inter, the government will also provide financial assistance of Rs 2500 per month to the youth who pass other competitive examinations like NEET, JEE, CLAT and other national and state level.
Under this scheme, whose mother is divorced or abandoned or whose parents or the main breadwinner of the family is in jail or such children who have been freed from child labor, child begging or child prostitution and adjusted in the family or family environment. Financial assistance will also be provided. The benefit of this scheme will be available to maximum two children of a family. Keeping in view the practical difficulties faced in the operation of the scheme, the cabinet has authorized the Chief Minister for necessary amendments and changes in future.
