Uttar Pradesh. Chinhat and Crime Branch on Wednesday freed 12 children being smuggled to Panipat. The police have also arrested five accused of human trafficking. From whom information is being collected about other people involved in the gang.
ADCP East Sr. According to Qasim Abdi, there was information about trafficking of children. On this basis, checking was done near Indira Nahar on Faizabad Road. In which the double decker bus going from Bihar to Delhi was stopped. On investigation, 12 children were found from the bus. Those who were being forcibly taken to Panipat.
According to the ADCP, Rahil, a resident of Purnia Jalalgarh, Gulfaraz, a resident of Majhgawan, Mohd. Nashtak, Shakir Alam and Mohd. Shahnawaz was caught. The children, who were freed from the clutches of smugglers, told that Rahil and his associates had given assurance of getting work in the factory located in Panipat, Haryana.
According to the ADCP, the children released are between 13 and 17 years of age. Their families have been informed while sending everyone to the Children’s Observation Home. At the same time, efforts are being made to gather information from the smugglers about their other accomplices.
