Rudrapur: Uttarakhand is a relief news. Amphotericin-B, which is effective in the treatment of black fungus, is undergoing a shortage. Rudrapur-based company has prepared its ten thousand doses. The senior drug inspector will get the first batch of 10,000 injections from the company on Thursday. Which he will send to Dehradun. There the drug controllers will deliver the injection to the Dehradun Medical College. At present there is a shortage of injections in the state. In such a situation, the state will get relief from getting ten thousand dodges.
Siddakul, Rudrapur-based VHB International Pharma Company started production of the injection 15 days ago, considering the importance and demand for effective amphotericin B injection in treating black fungus. The company aimed to produce 10000 single dose injections by 27 May. The employees of the company prepared ten thousand doses working day and night.
The company has been instructed to prepare for five more batches. Here, the demand for injections in the treatment of black fungus is increasing day by day, relative to the state’s allocation of injections from the center is very low. So far only 570 injections have been received in the state. After receiving ten thousand injections from SIDCUL, amphotericin-B deficiency is likely to be fulfilled in the state to a great extent.
