There is good news for about 30 lakh candidates registered for the High School Examination of Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council (UP Board). UP Board can promote them in the next class on the lines of Central Board of Secondary Education i.e. CBSE. UP Board Secretary Divyakant Shukla has asked all district school inspectors for half-yearly and preboard exam scores and integers on the website of the council. This information must be given by Tuesday evening, which means that a decision in this regard is expected soon.
High School and Intermediate Examination 2021 of Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council (UP Board) has not been done yet. Usually these exams have been held in February and March but, due to three-tier panchayat elections and then corona infection, the schedule of examinations has to be declared and postponed twice.
In April itself, CBSE had decided that it would promote high school candidates to the next class, while the final decision regarding Inter was yet to be made. Ever since the decision of CBSE, it was being speculated that the UP board could also follow the same but, by that time, the high school candidates were not able to get the basis to promote, rather the government was churning on it. .
Now UP Board Secretary Divyakant Shukla has written a letter to all the district school inspectors to upload the half-yearly and annual examinations (preboard) of the high school examiners on the website of the Council and the integer council by 5 pm on May 18. It has also been written in the letter that instructions have been received in this regard from a high level. While giving top priority to this work, instructions should be issued to all the principals and compulsorily upload them on the website of the council. It is also written in the letter that if the desired information of a school is not uploaded on the website, then the district school inspector of that district will be responsible.
Let us know that in February the preboard exams were conducted across the state. Also, the number of registered students in the high school is 29.94 lakhs. 16,74,022 boys and 13,20,290 girls are registered in the high school examination. This year the UP board examination has been delayed due to Corona epidemic and panchayat elections. In the last year 2020, the examinations started from 18 February itself. It is believed that at the government level meeting around May 20, the candidates of the high school can be approved for promotion.
