Noida. On Sunday afternoon, a fire broke out in Bahlolpur village located in Sector-63, Noida, that hundreds of slums were burnt to ashes. Two girls died due to scorching fire. Thousands of people have become homeless after getting ahead. As soon as the news of this terrible fire in Noida was reported, about 17 fire engines reached the spot and the fire was controlled after hard work for more than two hours.
There were more than 150 slums in a vacant plot in Bahlolpur village, where people from different districts of Bihar and West Bengal lived on rent.
At around 12:45 pm most of the men had gone out of work. While the women were also out of the house, suddenly a fire broke out in the slum. At that time children were sleeping in slums.
Shortly after the wind started to fire, the fire took a formidable form, after which it became a challenge for firefighters to control the fire.
Fire brigade with 17 fire engines arrived on the spot and got involved in the task of extinguishing the fire. By the time the fire was extinguished, most of the slums had burnt down.
Actually, plastic, tarpaulin and bamboo were used in the slums, due to which the fire continued to blaze.
CFO Arun Kumar Singh told IANS, hundreds of slums caught fire. It is suspected that lightning sparks or a cylinder burst caused a fire. Is being investigated. The fire continued to intensify as the wind was strong. Two children were sleeping in this fire, while further legal action is being taken. ”
DCP Central Harish Chander told IANS that two girls died due to severe burns in the future. About 150 to 200 slums were destroyed. The government has announced a grant of Rs 4 lakh to the family of the two children who lost their lives.
