Banbasa: The Delhi Police has camped in Banbasa in the case of five Nepalese citizens doing household chores and stealing around Rs 10 lakh from a Delhi house. On Friday, Delhi Police obtained many information in this regard.
Station Head Dharamvir Solanki said that five Nepali citizens, who worked as domestic help in the Basant Bihar area of Delhi, had stolen about 10 lakh rupees from the same house. A case of theft has also been registered at the Basant Bihar police station in Delhi by the victim. He said that the matter is dated 17 March. A SI and a constable of the Delhi Police have camped in Banbasa due to the possibility of the theft being linked to Nepali citizens and escaping Nepal from Banbasa border. The local police is also helping them.
He said that in order to apprehend the accused involved in the robbery, the Sharda Barrage police checkpoint is also closely checking every person going to Nepal. According to information from sources, a partner of Nepali citizens involved in the robbery was caught by the police in Delhi itself. After interrogating him, it was found that his accomplices involved in the robbery had reached Nepal. His captured accomplice said that he hailed from Doty district of Nepal.
