New Delhi. The T20 World Cup 2021 will be held in October-November in India this year. Every team of the world has started preparations for this tournament in their own way. Although there is still a long time for this, the process of building a better team is a bit longer and only after trying the players thoroughly, the teams are selected for this important tournament. However, Wisden have selected their favorite All-Tyne Men’s T20 World Cup XI.
Two Indian players MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli have been included in this team of Wisden. The captain of the team is MS Dhoni, who won the T20 World Cup title to India in 2007. Although Dhoni has now retired from Team India, but his achievement is very special for Indian cricket. In this team, three Pakistan players Shahid Afridi, Umar Gul and Saeed Ajmal have been selected. While Afridi is in the all-rounder team, Omar Gul is the fast bowler and Ajmal is the spinner.
Wisden has selected Chris Gayle of West Indies and Mahela Jayawardene of Sri Lanka as openers in this team. While Virat Kohli is present as the number three batsman in the team, England’s Kevin Pietersen has been selected for number four. Marlon Samuels has been placed in the team as number five batsman and Mike Hussey has been placed at number six. MS Dhoni is the captain and wicketkeeper of the team and he is placed to bat at the seventh position.
Shahid Afridi has been retained after MS Dhoni, who will bat at number eight. Looking at the order of the batsmen, it seems that there is a lot of depth in it. The team consists of Lasith Malinga of Sri Lanka and Omar Gul of Pakistan as a fast bowler. Saeed Ajmal is a part of the team as a pure spinner.
