Lucknow. Uttar Pradesh has got the gift of new PCS officers. Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has declared the final result of PCS 2019 on Wednesday. The exam was conducted for a total of 453 posts of 25 types, out of which 434 candidates have finally been successful. At the same time, 19 posts remain vacant due to non-availability of qualified candidates. The result has been uploaded on the UPPSC website.
On 16 October 2019, UPPSC released advertisement for the recruitment of 453 PCS, two ACF and 53 posts of RFO. Online applications were taken till 13 November. The Commission released its result on 17 February 2020 by conducting preliminary examination at 1166 centers in 19 districts of the state on 15 December. At the same time, 6119 candidates were successful for the PCS Main Examination, while 811 candidates were successful for the interview relative to 388 posts of recruitment. Interviews in the commission were conducted on 28, 29, 30 January, 1, 2, 3 and 4 February. 808 candidates participated in the interview.
Under the results court, soon on the score website: Commission Secretary Jagdish said that the result will be subject to the final decision of the petition filed by the state government in the High Court. Also, the conditionally selected will have to submit all the educational documents within the due date. Category wise, post wise score will be released on the website soon. In this, application under Right to Information Act-2005 will not be accepted.
Interview not held for these posts: Many posts of general qualification included in PCS-2019 have been selected on the basis of written examination. There will be no interview for Deputy Commissioner, Tax Assessing Officer, Marketing Officer and Law Officer (Market Council). Similarly, the selection for the posts of Special Qualification, Accounts and Communication Officer, Law Officer (PWD and Department of Geology and Mining), Senior Sugarcane Development Inspector and Veterinary and Welfare Officer has been done without interview.
Qualified candidates not found in these posts: UPPSC has not found qualified candidates in these posts in PCS 2019. These included Extension Service Officer one of Category-2, one of Labor Enforcement Officer, two of District Horticulture Officer-2 Grade-1, six of Accounts and Communication Officer, four of Law Officer in PWD, one of Senior Sugarcane Development Inspector, Animal There are two posts of Medical and Welfare Officer, two posts of Food Safety Officer.
The final result of PCS 2020 also this month: Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission can also release the result of PCS-2020 main examination by the end of the month of February. Its copies are under evaluation. The PCS-2020 Mains (Main) Examination was conducted from 21 to 25 January at 11 centers in Prayagraj, Lucknow and Ghaziabad. In this recruitment, 5139 candidates were registered against 487 posts. The evaluation is in the final stages due to the low number of candidates. The result will also be released on completion of the assessment in a few days.
