New Delhi. The Center told the Delhi High Court on Thursday that no message or any other information has been leaked to the media by the Delhi Police in connection with the ‘Toolkit’ case in which climate activist Disha Ravi is accused. Disha Ravi, a 21-year-old activist, has filed a petition in the Delhi High Court requesting the Delhi Police to stop leaking any material of the investigation related to the FIR registered against him to the media.
In the petition, Disha said that he was being attacked inconsistently on the basis of a leaked investigative case and a biased press briefing by the Delhi Police and several media houses.
Solicitor General Tushar Mehta told Judge Pratibha Singh, “This is just to attract media attention. No information has been leaked from the police. We will file an affidavit on it.”
After the hearing, the court gave the center till Friday to file the affidavit.
In addition, notices have also been issued to the News Broadcasters Association, News18 and Times Now.
The climate activist was arrested from Bengaluru last week for allegedly editing and sharing a ‘toolkit’ on social media related to farmers’ protests. Disha was sent to five days of police custody the next day.

Explain that the Delhi Police Cyber Cell team arrested environment activist Disha Ravi from Bengaluru on Sunday for sharing the toolkit related to the demonstration of farmers on social media against three new agricultural laws.
