Ayodhya. So far, nearly six hundred crore rupees have been deposited in the account of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust for the construction of Ram temple. These accounts are in SBI, Punjab National Bank and Bank of Baroda, Ramnagar. In these accounts, regular stored funds are being deposited. For the nationwide fund surrender campaign started from Makar Sankranti, a special account was opened in all three banks, in which about five hundred crores have been deposited so far.
State Bank of India alone has deposited 300 million. The remaining amount is deposited in Punjab National Bank and Bank of Baroda. Officials associated with the fund surrender campaign say that about one and a half crore rupees of checks have been engaged for clearing. In a day or two, the amount deposited in the accounts will increase significantly. Wing is working separately for this campaign in banks, which are constantly working to solve the problems of bank personnel in addition to the workers associated with the campaign.
One hundred fifty million are deposited in another account
Sriram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust had opened an account with the local SBI branch even before the Bhoomi Pujan was done for the construction of the temple. This account is for donors, in which 125 crore rupees have been deposited so far. It was deposited online as well as by check. It is in this account that the amount received as an offering to Ramlala and the amount of donation to the trust office is deposited.
