Patna. On the last day of the year i.e. 31 December night, there was a major reshuffle in the Bihar administration. 38 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers were transferred, while several Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers have also been transferred. This includes the District Magistrates of 12 districts.
Chanchal Kumar has charge of general administration
Additional Chief Secretary of Home Department Aamir Rautani has taken several additional charges including general administration and mission director of Bihar Administrative Reforms Mission Society. Apart from alcohol prohibition, products and registration, they will now have additional charge of the monitoring department. Development Commissioner Arun Kumar Singh has been removed from the additional charge of Monitoring Department. Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Chanchal Kumar will be in charge of the Chief Secretary of the General Administration Department. He has been given many responsibilities including mission director of Bihar Administrative Reforms Mission Society.
