People not only clashed with the police in the violence that erupted after a man died in a road accident on Thursday in Tajganj area of Agra city, but also set fire to several vehicles, including the police post. According to reports, the man was injured after a tractor-trailer overturned in the district on Thursday morning, after which he was admitted to the hospital, but died during treatment.
Inspector General of Police (Agra Range) Satish Ganesh said, “Some unruly elements vandalized the police post and also set fire to vehicles parked outside. The police said that the situation in the area is still under control although additional force has been deployed as a precaution.
