Kolkata. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said that the Trinamool Congress would win the assembly elections in 2021. Attacking the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the chief minister said, “You can buy some MLAs, but you cannot buy the Trinamool Congress. Those leaving the party will not have any influence on the public, because people Are with. ”
Mamta held a party meeting at Jambuni Maidan in Bolpur before organizing the mega roadshow.
He said outsiders are coming to Bengal and insulting the life philosophy of Rabindranath Tagore and Nazrul Islam.
“Conspiracies are being hatched to destroy the culture of Bengal. I feel really bad when I see the efforts being made to advance communal politics in Visva-Bharati,” he said.
He said, “These people do not know about Bengali icons, yet commenting on them. BJP’s All India President JP Nadda said that Rabindranath Tagore was born in Shanti Niketan. This is an insult to Gurudev, Because Rabindranath founded Shanti Niketan 60 years after his birth. ”
The Trinamool Congress supremo taunted the BJP, saying that those who do not respect Mahatma Gandhi and other symbols of the country are referring to ‘Sonar Bangla’.
