On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) at 10:36 am in February 2021, the price of delivery gold was falling by Rs 28, ie 0.06 per cent, to Rs 50,053 per 10 grams. In the previous session, the gold price in February contract was Rs 50,081 per 10 grams. Similarly, in April, 2021, the price of delivery gold was at Rs 50,101 per 10 grams with a decrease of Rs 8, ie 0.02 per cent. In the previous session, the gold price in April contract was Rs 50,109 per 10 grams.
Silver Price in Futures Market
On the Multi Commodity Exchange at 10:30 am in March 2021, the price of silver for delivery was down by Rs 171, or 0.26 per cent, to Rs 66,700 per kg. In the previous session, the price of contract silver in March 2021 was Rs 66,871 per kg. On the other hand, in May 2021, the price of contracted silver was up by Rs 45, or 0.07 per cent to Rs 67,739 per kg. Earlier on Tuesday, May 2021 the price of silver was at Rs 67,694 per kg.
Gold Price in Global Market
According to Bloomberg, the price of gold delivered on Comex in February 2021 was up by $ 0.50, or 0.03 per cent, at $ 1,870.80 an ounce. In the spot market, gold was trending at $ 1,866.60 an ounce, an increase of $ 5.76, or 0.31 per cent.
Silver Price in International Market
Commex was trading at $ 25.45 an ounce, a fall of $ 0.08, or 0.33 per cent, on silver delivered in March 2021. In the spot market, silver was up by $ 0.13, or 0.51 per cent, at $ 25.32 an ounce.
