Senior scientist Dr Krishna Pal Singh, living near Purnia in Aliganj, capital Lucknow, has accused the twins of harassing them. The victim had filed a petition in the Lucknow bench of the High Court, seeking protection. After this, the High Court ordered the District Magistrate Lucknow to take action and asked to submit the report in six weeks.
After meeting Dr. Krishna Pal Singh and asked about his problem, the victims became restless. Doctor Krishna Pal said that his daughters have been troubled for two years. It is alleged that the daughters beat Rupa Singh, wife of Krishna Pal. Krishnapala has married both. He says that being upset with the daughters’ actions, they have evicted both of them from their property. Despite this, both of them often enter the house. A young woman is forcibly placed in their house, which explains the whole thing to both.
When the victim tried to get CC cameras installed, the daughters started a commotion. Krishnakant’s advocate Daya Shankar Tripathi said that the elderly couple complained to the Aliganj police several times, but there was no hearing. He then took refuge in the High Court. If someone comes to meet the couple at home, then both the daughters reach there and are indecent to them. Now after the order of the court, the victim breathed a sigh of relief. Krishna Kant says that he and his wife’s life is in danger.
Court asked- What did the government do on the Act made for senior citizens: The Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court on Tuesday heard the petition of Dr. Krishna Pal Singh and his wife, senior scientist, resident of Aliganj. While hearing, a bench of Justices Pankaj Mittal and Justice Saurabh Lavania asked the state government what action has been taken so far on the order given by the Allahabad High Court for senior citizens. In October 2017, the Allahabad High Court directed the state government to set up tribunals and appellate tribunals, appoint a maintenance officer, within three months by issuing appropriate orders under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 and the rules made thereunder, He was ordered to build an old age home, to constitute a committee of senior citizens and to properly publicize the provisions of the Act through the media.
