Dehradun. Former minister Lakhiram Joshi, who has been suspended from the BJP, has submitted his reply to the state BJP. Joshi had raised a finger on the decisions of Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat and sent a letter to the Prime Minister demanding his removal. The state BJP, considering it indiscipline, sent a show cause notice along with suspending Joshi from the party. On the other hand, Joshi says that no indiscipline was done by him. He had written a letter regarding the image of the party and demanded that the central leadership of the party should also take cognizance and take action in respect of the matter which the court has taken cognizance of.
A letter sent by former Tehri MLA and former cabinet minister Joshi to the Prime Minister went viral in the internet media last month. In this, Joshi had said that the controversial image taken by the Chief Minister during the three-year tenure of the state government has shocked the image of the party. The letter also mentioned the order of the Nainital High Court, which was stayed by the Supreme Court. Taking cognizance of the case, the state BJP considered it indiscipline and on November 13 suspended former minister Joshi from the party and sent him a show cause notice. They were asked to reply within seven days of receiving the notice. Now he has responded to the state BJP.
It was told that a notice was sent by the party to Tehri’s address, which was received on November 27. Meanwhile, former minister Joshi reached the state BJP office on Friday and submitted his reply in a closed envelope to state general minister Kuldeep Kumar. State General Secretary Kuldeep Kumar said that the envelope related to Joshi’s reply will be handed over to the state president. Only then will a decision be taken in this matter.
Joshi’s answer became the topic of discussion
The day former minister Joshi chose to respond to the notice was also at the center of the discussion. Actually, BJP National President JP Nadda arrived in Uttarakhand on a four-day stay on Friday and on this day Joshi also submitted a reply to the state BJP. In such a situation, it was natural to discuss in the political corridors.
