In Uttar Pradesh, ‘Mission Rojgar’ will start from Saturday to fulfill the target of making 50 lakh youths employable by the end of this financial year through employment, self-employment, skill training and apprentices. Chief Secretary Rajendra Tiwari has given detailed instructions for the success of this special campaign. Under the campaign, youth will be given opportunities to move forward through training, various licenses and permissions.
Chief Secretary Rajendra Tiwari said under the Mission Employment, various departments, organizations, voluntary organizations, corporations, councils, boards, development authorities and industrial development authorities will have the role of other authorities. Under the campaign, with the creation of employment and self-employment, youth should be provided more employment opportunities through skill training, apprenticeship, land allocation, various types of licenses and permissions.
For the various tasks in the Mission Employment Campaign, the concerned departments will make a detailed action plan and collect data and increase employment opportunities in the current financial year through proposed appointments, training, permissions, allocation. By the end of this financial year in Uttar Pradesh, 50 lakh youth will be enabled for employment and self-employment.
The Chief Secretary said that an employment help desk will be set up in every office of every department, organization and authority. The help desk will have complete information about the programs related to employment, self-employment, skills training and apprenticeship in that department. Apart from this, there will also be a register at the help desk, in which the details of those seeking employment and self-employment information will be recorded.
Such interested people will be called at the time of beneficiary selection in the schemes. The departments whose employment, self-employment, skills training and apprenticeship schemes are running online will motivate visitors for online registration through employment help desk and also create their database.
Chief Secretary Rajendra Tiwari said that the responsibility of keeping all data under Mission Employment and developing an app and portal in this regard will be the responsibility of the Directorate of Training and Employment. For this, the Department of Labor will arrange the budget. All Directorates / Corporations / Boards / Commissions under the administrative departments will nominate a nodal officer for their department and their entry will be done on the portal.
The Directorate of Training and Employment will also organize employment fairs in collaboration with private industries. Various departments will organize workshops and awareness programs for self-employment related programs. Pre-pending recruitment cases will be disposed of by running special campaigns during this period. Various departments will send a petition against 100 percent vacancies to the selection commissions in respect of jobs.
