Tumkuru Police in Karnataka’s Tumkuru district on Tuesday registered a case against Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut for allegedly tweeting against farmers who were opposing agricultural laws passed by Parliament. In this tweet, Kangana had allegedly targeted farmers protesting against the controversial Central Agricultural Acts.
Last week, a Tumkuru court directed the local Kytasandra police station to register a case against Kangana Ranaut for a tweet made against the farmers.

In the complaint given by Naik, it has been said that the tweet made on September 21 from the Twitter handle of the actress has hurt her. He said, “My case against popular Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is not to gain any publicity, but to tell them that what they did is wrong.”
On September 21, Kangana wrote on a Twitter handle that the people who spread misinformation and rumors on the CAA, which led to violence, are now spreading misinformation on the anti-farmer bill, which has scared the nation. They are terrorists.
