Mumbai. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Wednesday dismissed the issue of giving clean chit to anyone including Bollywood actresses Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan. All of them are being questioned about the drug angle that came up in the case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. The agency has denied the claims of giving them a clean chit.
A media report recently claimed that NCB has given a clean chit to Deepika, her former manager Karishma Prakash, Sara, Shraddha and others in a drug-related case. In view of this, the investigating agency has given its comment.
Deepika, Shraddha and Karishma were questioned for hours by the NCB in Mumbai on Saturday over their WhatsApp chat, which allegedly involved drugs. The same day NCB also questioned Sara Ali Khan for more than five hours.
The NCB also questioned actress Rakul Preet Singh on Friday for four hours in connection with her investigation. However, the agency has not made any disclosure about the findings obtained after questioning them.
