Jamshedpur | Indian Super League (ISL) franchise Jamshedpur FC has announced a tie-up with veteran goalkeeper Pawan Kumar for the upcoming season of the league. Pawan has a two-year deal with Jamshedpur FC and will now continue with the club until 2021. Earlier, Pawan was with Northeast United FC, where he made 46 saves and six clean sheets in 18 matches for two seasons.
30-year-old Pawan helped Northeast United FC make it to the playoffs for the first time in the 2018-19 season.
Pawan said after joining Jamshedpur FC, “I am happy to be associated with Jamshedpur. It has been fantastic to see the club moving forward for the last three seasons. It is like a dream come true. It is a big challenge for me because I know we want to qualify for the ISL play-offs in our quest to become India’s champions. “
