A youth from Punjab fell in love with a minor girl from Ghazipur in Uttar Pradesh while playing online Ludo. This love got so much on the youth’s head that he reached Ghazipur and the girl secretly ran away with him. Meanwhile, the girl’s family informed the police. The police also searched for the girl and arrested him near Nagsar turn. The police also recovered the girl from the accused.
After this, the accused was produced in the court and sent to jail in judicial custody for 14 days. According to the police, the accused has been identified as Monu Verma, a resident of Punjab. The accused told the police during interrogation that some time ago the girl from Ghazipur came in contact while playing online Ludo. Initially both kept talking to each other and gradually both fell in love with each other.
The accused had reached the girl’s house
After this, both decided to run away from home and the accused youth reached Ghazipur from Punjab. Here the girl also quietly left the house and reached the accused. When the family came to know about this, they filed a case of kidnapping of the girl with the police. According to Ghazipur police, the girl was being searched when the news came that she was present with a young man at Nagsar turn.
Police sent them to jail
The police immediately cordoned off the area and took the girl and the young man into custody. After this, the police got the girl medically examined and then filed a case against the accused under the Child Sexual Abuse Act and presented him in the court. From where he has been sent to jail. The police also presented the girl before the magistrate and recorded her statement. The police is investigating the matter.
