Lucknow: The state government transferred 46 IAS officers on Thursday night. Principal Secretary Sanjay Prasad has once again been given the responsibility of the Home Department. During the Lok Sabha elections, he was removed from this post on the orders of the Commission. Now, along with Home, he has also been given additional charge of the Department of Confidentiality, Visa, Passport and Vigilance. Additional charge of Home and Confidentiality has been withdrawn from Additional Chief Secretary Deepak Kumar. Along with Finance and Secondary Education, he has now been given additional responsibility of Basic Education.
L. Venkateshwar Lu has been given additional charge of Principal Secretary Social Welfare along with his current post. Charge of Principal Secretary Home Guard has been withdrawn from Babu Lal Meena. Rajesh Kumar has been made Second Special Secretary Sports Commissioner Food Safety and Drug Administration Department. Dr. Akhilesh Kumar Singh has been given the responsibility of Joint State Election Commissioner, Additional State Election Commissioner State Election Commission.
Dr. Anil Kumar has been made Director SUDA Secretary Urban Employment and Poverty Alleviation Program Department. Dr. Hiralal has been made Special Secretary Irrigation and Water Resources Department. Apart from this, he has also been made the State Nodal Officer of Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana. Anil Kumar Singh has been made Special Secretary, Home and Prison Administration and Reforms Department.
Atal Kumar Rai has been given the responsibility of Panchayati Raj Department Secretary in addition to Director Panchayati Raj. Narendra Prasad Pandey has been made Special Secretary, Agriculture Production Commissioner Branch and Secretary, Rural Development Department. Dr. Chandra Bhushan has been made Special Secretary, Forest, Environment and Climate Change Department and Managing Director of PCF.
Anil Kumar Singh has been given the responsibility of Additional Commissioner and Additional Registrar (Banking) Cooperative Societies and Registrar Cooperative Societies along with the current post. Ramya R has been made Special Secretary, Infrastructure and Industrial Development Department as well as Special Secretary of Forest Environment and Climate Change Department.

Brajesh Narayan Singh has been made Commissioner-in-Charge and Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Transport Commissioner. Prakash Bindu has been appointed Managing Director UPSIDA, Director Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Research and Training Institute, Director Chhatrapati Sahu Ji Maharaj Research and Training Institute, Secretary Public Works Department.
Bhupendra S Chaudhary has been appointed Special Secretary, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Director Disabled Empowerment, Secretary Public Works Department. Vivek has been appointed Special Secretary Home, Home and Prison Administration and Reforms Secretary Home Department.
