Asaram, who is lodged in Jodhpur Central Jail in the case of sexual harassment of a victim from Shahjahanpur, UP, is coming out for treatment on 7-day parole. On Asaram’s release from jail, the victim’s father alleged that he wants to come out of jail only to spread propaganda. If we talk about treatment, Asaram’s treatment was possible in Jodhpur too.
The victim’s father alleged that many types of propaganda were run before this as well. He said that a video was broadcast by making a duplicate victim and her father. Apart from this, many other types of false videos were broadcast.
Concern about security arrangements
The victim’s father also expressed concern about the security arrangements for himself and his family and said that the security personnel who are put on duty do not do their duty properly. The victim’s father says that those who come to do duty come at 11:00 in the morning and leave at 6:00 in the evening.
Security personnel do their duty arbitrarily
He said that on paper, the entire police force has been deployed. But the guards deployed in the security system do their duty arbitrarily. When the victim’s father talked to Shahjahanpur SP Ashok Meena about his security arrangements, he assured full security arrangements.
Asaram was arrested in 2013
Actually, Asaram Bapu raped the 16-year-old victim from Shahjahanpur in his Jodhpur ashram in the year 2013. After the victim made allegations, Asaram was arrested on 1 September 2013. In 2018, Asaram Bapu was sentenced to life imprisonment in this case. Now the Jodhpur High Court has given seven days parole to the narrator for treatment.
Two witnesses have been killed
Meanwhile, the victim’s father said that there was a threat to his family and security should be beefed up. He argued that while Asaram was in jail, the prime witness in his case, Kripal Singh (35), was shot dead in Shahjahanpur’s Cantt area on July 10, 2015. Another witness was shot dead in Muzaffarnagar.
