Lucknow. 13-year-old Shiva died due to the negligence of his parents in Puran Nagar, Alambagh on Sunday evening. Actually, he was playing with his cousin brother by taking out the loaded rifle kept under the bed. Meanwhile, a bullet was fired in the scuffle. Shiva died after being shot on the right side of the chest.
Uncle had gone to the market to buy vegetables
Shiva and his family members are originally from Kalpi Jalaun. Here in Puran Nagar, they are living on rent in Manoj Sharma’s house. On Sunday evening, Shiva’s elder sister Renu was cooking in the kitchen. Uncle Sanjay Singh had gone to the market to buy vegetables. His loaded rifle was kept in the room under the bed. Shiva and his cousin brother Om took out the rifle from under the bed. Both were playing with the rifle in the room.

Shiva was pulling the rifle towards himself by holding the barrel, Om started pulling the rear part towards himself. Meanwhile, suddenly a bullet was fired. The bullet hit Shiva’s chest. On hearing the voice, Renu ran from the kitchen to the room. Her brother was lying on the floor soaked in blood.
On hearing the screams, the landlord Manoj Sharma and neighbour Ankit ran. Shiva was taken to Lokbandhu in a hurry. Seeing his critical condition, the doctors referred him to the trauma centre. The doctors declared Shiva dead in the trauma centre. The police said that Sanjay had been negligent in keeping the weapon. Action is being taken to cancel the weapon licence.
