Today, a bulldozer has been run on the house of Zainab Fatima, the absconding wife of Mafia Atiq Ahmed’s brother Ashraf. This action has been taken by the administration in the case of usurping the property of Waqf Board worth 50 crores. If the police is to be believed, Ashraf had built a luxurious mansion worth five crores for Zainab on the land of Waqf Board.
The case is of Sallahpur in Prayagraj. It was here that the land of Waqf Board was located, on which Ashraf had built a luxurious mansion for Zainab Fatima. This very mansion was demolished by the PDA’s bulldozer after 1 pm. Three teams had reached Sallahpur under the leadership of the zonal officer of PDA. Police officers were also called for force. During the action, the force of many police stations was deployed on the spot under the leadership of ACP.
Illegal construction has been made on the land of Waqf Board
The administration said that Ashraf had built a luxurious mansion for his wife Zainab by occupying Waqf property worth more than 50 crores. When the order to demolish it was given, the administration demolished Zainab’s bungalow worth Rs 5 crore. During the bulldozer action, two ACPs led by ACP Dhoomanganj Varun Kumar, Puramufti, Dhoomanganj, Airport police station forces were present on the spot.
The house is worth Rs 5 crore
The luxurious house of Zainab Fatima on which the bulldozer will be run was said to be worth Rs 5 crore. This house was built on seven bighas of land. Ashraf’s wife Zainab, her brother Zaid and Saddam had occupied the land worth 50 crores. A case was registered in November 2023 regarding illegal occupation of Waqf Board land. After this, in December 2023, it was confiscated by making a proclamation under the Gangster Act.
