Ujhani: Last night a wedding procession from Bareilly had come to the Green Palace in Ujhani Nagar. During the wedding procession, the groom’s uncle got into a drunken fight with some of the wedding guests. Due to this, uncle got angry and started leaving. Got into the car. Some wedding guests came forward to stop them, but the uncle did not agree. Started the car and drove it fast, crushing five people standing in front. The condition of all five people is critical. He is being treated at CHC Ujhani.
The marriage of a daughter resident of village Adhauli of Ujhani police station area was fixed in Bareilly Bisaratganj. The wedding procession had come to SS Green Palace, the venue of the ceremony located on the bypass, on Friday night. The wedding procession was coming. Meanwhile, Bareilly groom’s uncle Harendra Sahu, resident of Bisaratganj, Bareilly, got into an argument with some groomsmen under the influence of alcohol.
On this, Harendra started creating ruckus and got angry and started leaving in the car. While starting the car, some people started advocating for him. But Harendra started his car and moved ahead at high speed. Due to which he went away, trampling five people standing in front of the car.
Due to this, Akash, resident of Ramlila Nagla of the city, Nitin Sahu, resident of village Adhauli of police station area, Naveen Chandra, Anmol, Satya Narayan, residents of Manpurnagaria of Soron police station area of Kasganj, were seriously injured. All the injured were admitted to CHC. In this regard, Ujhani Inspector Manoj Kumar Singh said that till late evening no one has given any complaint letter. An FIR will be filed after investigation.
