Lucknow: The BJP, which is facing all-round opposition from the opposition regarding the inauguration ceremony of the new Parliament House, has got the support of Mayawati. BSP supremo Mayawati has argued that the government has got the new building constructed, so it has the right to inaugurate it. Mayawati has tweeted on Thursday terming the opposition’s boycott as unfair. However, due to her busy schedule, she herself will not be able to attend the opening ceremony.
Mayawati said in her tweet that whether it was the government of the Congress party at the Center before or now of the BJP, the BSP has always supported them on issues related to the country and public interest, rising above party politics, and on May 28, the new building of Parliament Seeing the inauguration of the party in this context, the party welcomes it.
He said that the boycott is unjustified for not inaugurating the new Parliament by President Draupadi Murmu. The government has made it, so it has the right to inaugurate it. It is unfair to link this with respect for tribal women. He should have thought of this while fielding a candidate against him instead of electing him unopposed.
Mayawati said that I have received the invitation for the inauguration ceremony of the new Parliament House, for which I thank and best wishes. But due to my preoccupation with the ongoing review meetings of the party, I will not be able to attend that function.
