Lucknow. Politics has started on Rakesh Tikait’s statement of besieging Lucknow. UP BJP has retaliated on Rakesh Tikait through cartoon poster. BJP has written by tweeting that oh brother, take care and live in Lucknow…
Know what Tikait had to say:
Rakesh Tikait had also warned to make Lucknow Delhi. In a press conference in Lucknow on Monday, he had said that if things do not work out, then like Delhi, the farmers of the country will seal the borders of Lucknow. Tikait said that eight months have passed since the farmers’ agitation on the Delhi border but neither the anti-farmer law was repealed nor the legal guarantee of MSP was implemented. In such a situation, the Morcha has now decided to start a movement in the name of Mission Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. This movement will start immediately after the Mahapanchayat to be held in Muzaffarnagar on 5th September. After this, Mahapanchayat will be organized at all the divisional headquarters and rallies will be taken out. In which the local issue of the farmers of the state will also be raised along with the repeal of the three anti-farmer laws and guarantee of MSP.
The farmer leader claimed that the eight-month-long agitation has become a symbol of self-respect and unity of the farmers. He said, we are going to start Mission Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand as the next step only to make our movement more fast, dense and effective. Under the mission, under the banner of Morcha, farmers from across the country will intensify the movement along with the farmers of both the states.

Is Yogi a weak leader: Tikait
During the press conference, Rakesh Tikait, National Spokesperson of Bharatiya Kisan Union and leader of United Kisan Morcha, said that Mayawati’s government in UP had increased sugarcane prices by Rs 80 per quintal while Akhilesh Yadav’s government had increased sugarcane prices by Rs 50 during its tenure. But the Yogi government did not increase the prices of sugarcane by one rupee. Is Yogi a weaker leader than those two leaders who are unable to take any decision in the interest of farmers. Their age is also short, so they should increase the rate of sugarcane by Rs 100.
