new Delhi. President Ram Nath Kovind has given the first donation for the construction of Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. He donated Rs 5,00,100 to a joint delegation of office bearers of RSS, Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Ram Mandir Trust at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Friday. With this donation of President Ramnath Kovind, the fund dedication campaign for the Ram temple across the country started. The campaign will run till 27 February. After receiving the donation from the President, Vishwa Hindu Parishad CEO Alok Kumar said, “We went to President Ramnath Kovind for the launch of Sriramandir Nidhi dedication campaign. He donated Rs.5,00,100. Srirammandir fund all over the country from Friday. The dedication campaign started. His Majesty Ramnath Kovind extended his personal dedication with the family and wished for the campaign.
Vinod Bansal, national spokesperson of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, said that a massive public relations campaign would be undertaken from 13 crore families in 5.25 lakh villages of the country for the construction of the grand Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya. 65 crore people from 13 crore families will be linked with the Shri Ram Mandir Nidhi Surrender campaign.
The delegation to meet President Ram Nath Kovind was prominent among the treasurers of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust, Govind Dev Giri Maharaj, VHP CEO Alok Kumar, Ram Mandir Bhavan Construction Committee President Nripendra Mishra and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s Provincial Union Organizer Kulbhushan Ahuja.
