In the previous trading day, gold had closed at Rs 50,111 per 10 grams and silver at Rs 61,572 per kg. HDFC Securities senior commodity analyst Tapan Patel said, “24 karat gold rose by Rs 3 in the spot market of Delhi Bullion.
This is due to fluctuations in gold prices internationally and depreciating rupee. ”In the international market, gold rose marginally to $ 1,877 and silver remained flat at $ 24.20 an ounce.
