Dehradun. State Congress President Pritam Singh has questioned the government’s decision to open the schools. He said that due to the rapid increase in corona infection, no parent wants to take a risk. The government should reconsider the decision, not playing with the lives of children. Speaking to the media at the state Congress headquarters, Pritam Singh said that a case of corona infection of 80 teachers has been reported in Pauri.
The government should conduct a corona examination of all teachers and students before opening the school. Commenting on the letter sent by BJP MLA Umesh Sharma to the BJP state organization, he said that there is growing dissatisfaction between the government and the organization under the head of power. Condemning the indecent remarks of BJP MLA Kunwar Pranab Singh Champion, he said that BJP’s wavering attitude has made the MLA’s behavior autocratic.
Whether Modi comes or not doesn’t matter now
In response to a question about Prime Minister Narendra Modi not reaching the inauguration of Dobra-Chanthi bridge in Tehri district, he said that whether Prime Minister Modi comes or not, there is no difference now. The hand of wood does not climb again and again. The construction of the Dobra-Chanthi bridge was started by the Harish Rawat government of Congress. He said that the BJP government worked to keep the bridge closed to the public in the name of inauguration. Later, the movement of the bridge started under the pressure of Congress.
