Patna. Campaigning for 94 seats in the second phase of Bihar assembly elections came to a halt on Sunday, November 1. In the second phase on November 3, two crore 86 lakh 11 thousand 164 voters of 17 districts will decide the fate of 1463 candidates.
In the second phase, nine of Patna, three of West Champaran, six of East Champaran, one of Shivhar, three of Sitamarhi, four of Madhubani, five of Darbhanga, five of Muzaffarpur, Daha of Gopalganj, eight of Siwan, 10 of Saran, Vaishali Polling will be held in six seats, five in Samastipur, seven in Begusarai, four in Khagadia, five in Bhagalpur and seven in Nalanda.
Even today, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi will hold five rallies, Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav will hold 11 rallies in five districts and LJP President Chirag Paswan will do eight rallies. According to the Election Commission, in the second phase seats BJP 46, BSP 33, CPI (M) four, Congress 24, NCP 29, RJD 56, JDU 43, LJP 52 and RLSP 36 candidates are in the fray. 513 independents are in the fray with 623 candidates from the 156 smaller parties registered.
